Mumbai City FC kicked off their campaign with a draw against the Marina Machans and then went on to register wins against the Blasters and ATK Mohun Bagan. A draw followed against Hyderabad FC, before they came out on top against Odisha FC and East Bengal FC. Their unbeaten streak came to an end with Aadizema and Vanshaj of FC Goa edged the Islanders in a fighting tie. Their final three games saw them take home a win against Bengaluru FC, draw against NorthEast United and ending their campaign with a win against Jamshedpur FC.
Overall, Krusher and Sakky combined for 65 goals, while conceding 45 and ending with a goal difference of 20. The Islanders have now set up a sure to be blockbuster playoff clash against the Kerala Blasters. Who gets on to the last 4? We’re waiting to see, just like you!
