FC Goa clinched much-needed three points against Odisha FC, putting the Gaurs at fourth on the league table, whereas Odisha FC remained unchanged on tenth.
In-game 1, FC Goa represented by Afnanameen10 fired the first goal, however, DuggalTv playing for Odisha FC scored the equalizer on the verge of full time. Game 1 turned out to be a cracker and ended with a 1-1 scoreline.
In the second game, VSharma10 of FC Goa took on Shubumbumtumtum of Odisha FC. Odisha FC took an early lead before Shubumbumtumtum canceled it out through a brilliant goal. However, just before halftime, VSharma10 regained the advantage to 2-1. He carried forward the momentum at the start of the second half and made it 4-1 inside the seventy-minute mark. Shubumbumtumtum pulled one back in the eighty-sixth minute but it was too late by then.
In the final game, Odisha FC opened the account first by scoring a goal in the opening minutes. In reply, FC Goa scored the equalizer in the second half and secured the three crucial points as the co-op match ended in a draw. VSharma10 scored four goals and was awarded as Hero of the match.
In the second match, ATK Mohun Bagan dented the Kerala Blasters FC’s semi-final chances, by winning two games in the best of three. Even after winning this game, the Mariners remained rooted to the foot of the points table while Kerala Blasters FC stayed eight.
ATK Mohun Bagan got off to a flying start after Bindartej put up a commanding display to defeat Kerala Blaster’s Akshat08 by 2-0 in game two. The defensive capability shown by ATKMB proved difficult for KBFC to breach.
The second game also went in favor of ATKMB, Lokmanyu06 gave the lead to KBFC by scoring a goal just before the interval, but KBFC couldn't hold on, as KtDhillon scored the equalizer for ATKMB. Later in the second half KtDhillon scored a late goal and sealed it for ATKMB by 2-1.
In the co-op match, ATKMB laid back, which proved costly for them. KBFC boys made full use of it and displayed attacking football which resulted in a 5-3 scoreline. At the end of the game, three crucial points went to ATK Mohun Bagan.
Kt_Dhillon scored four goals and was declared as Hero of the Match.
Chennaiyin FC dominated the outing against Bengaluru FC. With this win, CFC secured their second spot and added three points to their tally, while Bengaluru FC stays at sixth in the league table.
CFC came out on top in game one as Navin29 scored two late goals in the 85th and 87th minute, taking the lead in the three-game match. BFC's Warsi managed to score only one goal in the game.
In-game 2, Bengaluru FC dismantled the CFC defense, as three goals were scored by XSagnik_. Game 2 turned out to be a one-sided affair as Chennaiyin FC managed to hit only one shot on target. The match ended with a 3-0 scoreline.
The final game witnessed moments of fightback from the Blues but it was not enough. Chennaiyin FC drove to the lead with one goal while BFC failed to score any.
XSagnik_ was awarded as Hero of the Match as he scored three goals.
