Having won the first game with a solitary goal, Jamshedpur FC were held to a 1-1 draw by Bengaluru FC in the following one. With just a draw needed to seal full points, Jamshedpur FC scored late in the second half of the third game to level the score at 2-2 and bag top honours.
There was nothing to separate between Jamshedpur FC’s ARVINDMASS_ and Bengaluru FC’s WARSI in the opening half of the first game, as either of the side’s defended well, to keep the score unchanged. However, ARVINDMASS_ managed to net the winner in the second period to give his team an early lead in the match.
In the second game, Bengaluru FC’s SAGNIK_ provided a breakthrough for his side early on in the first half. Jamshedpur FC’s AKASH_ASH2499 also created quite a few chances, but some exceptional defending by the opposition denied them a goal till the end of the first period. After constant pressing following the break, Jamshedpur FC finally scored the equaliser towards the ending stages of the game, as the game ended 1-1.
The third game turned out to be a nail-biting one, as both the teams were playing some exceptional football, but Bengaluru FC was the team which came up with the opening goal, as they went into the break with the slender lead. Jamshedpur FC shifted gears in the second half and restored parity, only to see their rivals take the lead once again moments later. But, making the most out of a slip up by the other side, Jamshedpur FC netted the winner in the dying seconds of the game, to grab full points from the clash.
