Mumbai City FC registered their sixth win in the eISl after defeating SC East Bengal in the Match 36 of eISL. With this win, Mumbai stood fifth in the league table.

MCFC came out on top in game one. Ashwin_1411 scored a late goal in the 85th minute and took the lead in the three-game match. SCEB’s Not_AnkitGupta had many chances, but he failed to convert them into a goal.

In-game 2, Tikka of Mumbai City FC took on IM_Ben07 of SC East Bengal. SCEB took an early lead and doubled it by scoring a goal from a penalty. Tikka cancelled the lead by scoring three brilliant goals and made it 3-2 at the end of the game.

The final match was a dead rubber for MCFC, and took the foot off the peddle. SC East Bengal made full use of it and played attacking football, won with a 5-1 scoreline, but it was a case of too little, too late.

At the end of the game, three crucial points went Mumbai City FC’s way.
