Two tightly contested matches ended in draws on Wednesday as Hyderabad FC remained 9th in the league table to remain in the semi-finals race with a hard-earned draw with NorthEast United FC while Mumbai City FC held table-toppers SC East Bengal to go up the eISL table to reach the second spot.
In the first match of the day, Emaadrox led NorthEast United FC to a victory over Aadizema. He scored two excellent goals with Pele & Mbappe. Late in the game, Aadizema got himself back into the game and scored, but a counter-attacking goal by Emaadrox sealed the match in NEUFC’s favour with a 3-1 scoreline.
Game-2 was a goalless affair in normal play. However, Deekay scored in extra time to win the match for Hyderabad FC and set up the third game as the decider.
In game-3, early goals in the first & second half by Hyderabad FC put them in a comfortable lead. However, Muffuburhani scored and got NEUFC back into the game. Late in the match, they got an equaliser and both sides went away with 1 point each.
Emaadrox scored four goals and was declared the Hero of the Match.
In the second clash of the day, Not_AnkitGupta’s SC East Bengal got a routine 3-0 victory over Ashwin_1411. The two goals in the first half were capped off by the third goal with Ronaldo, sealing the victory for SCEB in game-1.
Tikka dominated game-2 and scored the only goal of the match with Ronaldo and won it for Mumbai City FC. In the co-op, SCEB scored in the first half but were pegged back when MCFC equalised early in the second half. The match ended in a draw.
Not_AnkitGupta scored three goals and was the Hero of the Match.
