NorthEast United FC clinched the all-important three points after defeating Bengaluru FC in Match 37 of eISL. With this win, the Highlanders move to the fourth position, while Bengaluru FC drops down to the fifth spot.

The first game was commanded by NorthEast United FC, as Emmadrox overpowered the defence of Bengaluru FC, scoring six goals in the game. Bengaluru FC player Warsi tried to make a comeback in the latter half and scored two goals but it wasn’t enough as the opening game ended with a 6-2 scoreline.

In game 2, XSagnik_  of Bengaluru FC took on Muffuburhani of Northeast United FC. NEUFC took an early lead but XSagnik restored the parity in the 59th minute as he scored the equalizer. A late goal came from Muffuburhan meant the match was sealed in NorthEast United’s favour.

The final match was a dead rubber, however, worked well for Bengaluru FC to get some winning momentum while displaying attacking football, which resulted in a 3-0 scoreline. At the end of the game, three crucial points went to Northeast United FC. Emaadrox was awarded as Hero of the match.
