Northeast United FC eases past ATK Mohun Bagan FC, Jamshedpur FC edge Hyderabad FC

NorthEast United FC secured all-important three points against ATK Mohun Bagan and moved to the fifth spot on the points table of eISL. ATK Mohun Bagan remained winless in the competition and sit at bottom of the table.

In Game 1, NEUFC kept the clean sheet, as ATKMB player KTDhillon failed to breach their defence. NEUFC had the possession throughout the game, Muffuburahni made full use of it and scored the only goal of the game as it ended with a 1-0 scoreline.

Then, in the second game, Bindratej scored a goal in the early minutes of the game and brought ATKMB back in the game. But a late equalizer from NEUFC Emmadrox changed the equation and the match ended in a 1–1 draw.

In the final game, Northeast United FC dismantled the Kolkata team, as four goals were scored by the duo of Muffuburahni and Emmadrox. The co-op match was a one-sided affair as the match ended with a 4-0 scoreline. Emmadrox scored 5 goals and was awarded as Hero of the Match.
