Odisha FC beat Chennaiyin FC to end winless run, Mumbai City FC return to winning ways

After losing four consecutive matches Odisha FC finally tasted a victory against Chennaiyin FC in Match 35 of eISL. With this win, Odisha FC moved to the ninth position, while CFC stayed second.

In Game 1, Chennaiyin FC player Navinh29 had the upper hand as he dominated the first half with the first goal came in the 18th minute. But in the second half, the equation changed as Odisha FC’s DuggalTv scored three goals to put the team in the lead. Match ended on a 3-2 scoreline.

In the second game, Saranshjain7, representing Chennaiyin FC, applied incessant pressure against Shubham that made the matters exciting. CFC scored the first goal of the match in the 23rd minute, but Shubham held on to his undefeated streak as he scored the equalizer for Odisha FC in the 75^th minute and finished the game as a 1-1 draw.

The third game in co-op, sealed three points for Odisha FC as DuggalTv scored the only goal of the game. Match ended with a 1-0 scoreline, and this was Chennaiyin FC's first defeat in the tournament. DuggalTv scored 4 goals in the tie and was awarded as Hero of the Match.
